I pick up all the Other Optional Power-ups for the dark Characters that I've not already picked up.
A Quick note about the Ancient Light in Sky Rail - you don't need any other powerups to get it, so you can easilly get it as you're progressing through the story - I just forgot where it was at the time... (good thing I did too, since the original recording of that level was FUBAR...)
